Charlotte Walker has 25 years’ experience in the executive search industry working on UK and international retained assignments for non-executive and executive directors across a diverse range of industry sectors. She specialises in high growth, high change business environments and has a particular empathy with the SME market.
Charlotte began her career as a researcher before taking up the role of Head of Research for a number of generalist boutique firms. Prior to founding Walker Penrose Associates, Charlotte worked for leading executive search firm Odgers Berndtson where she operated in both the Board Practice and the Technology Practice with a special focus on the SME market.
During her career, Charlotte has worked successfully with both quoted and unquoted companies, including FTSE 100, FTSE 250, AIM, private, private equity-backed, start-up companies and those preparing for IPO. She has a reputation for generating top quality candidates in a timely and cost effective way. Clients she has worked with include BT PLC, BTG PLC, Chamberlin PLC, Marine Current Turbines Ltd, Metalysis Ltd, Epi-V LLP and Volex PLC.
